On my way to the Animal Medical Center to retrieve my retriever Phoenix, I was handed an envelope containing the most generous and welcome gift I could imagine. Who it is from, I do not know; but what I do know is that there are very many people, children, friends, strangers and acquaintances that contributed to the contents.
Phoenix and I are so grateful for this flood of generosity. The care and love is silent and unknown but just as much felt and sensed by us. We thank you from our hearts, thank you for your concern and hope that we will be able to join you, our friends, again very, very soon.
