In 1963, 1964 and 1965 George Copeland's manager,Constance Wardle, recorded the great artist and issued these private recordings for friends. Included was a November 1957 tape of Schumann's Faschingschwank
aus Wien; to fill out the issue, the following selections were taken from Copeland's MGM recordings dating from the mid-1950s: Rameau, Satie, de
Falla, Mompou and Debussy's Hommage a Rameau.
